Types of Incense

Incense is commonly used to change the smell of a room, to add a pleasant scent to the space, or to help change the mood and feelings of those using it. There are many different types of incense available to ensure that there is one that suits everyone.

Stick Incense

Sticks of incense are the most popular form currently being used.  It is easy to light and store, and the incense sticks take up little space. By having an assortment of scents, you can ensure that you have the right one for any mood. The larger the stick of incense the longer it will burn, and for shorter burn times they can be trimmed. Due to the uniformity of this form of incense, it burns evenly.

Cone Incense

Cones are made in molds and pressured into that shape. Suited for large spaces, the scent grows the longer it burns, as the flame reaches the wider portions.

In-Koh Incense

Pressed incense is made through a process of pressing it into a shape. This results in a delicate shape that will add style and scent to the room. It is heated with charcoal and offers an even fragrance release.

Sachets of incense allow for scents to be mixed within a small cloth or a pouch. It requires no heating and can be used in gym bags, cars, and even dressers to add a scent to the space as well as the clothing it is next too. Additionally adding incense sachets to storage or dressers will deter bugs.
